What might sound like a Monty Python sketch had become a published university study, complete with participants, ratings, comparisons, and the clinical soulless language of scientific observation.
Well said. Pleased to hear you wrote for the Light Paper. Thankfully I never wore a mask.
I went to hospital in June 2020 after I had fully worked out the scam. I was having immunotherapy for cancer. Masks just introduced for NHS. Refused to wear mask to get PCR test and refused entry by idiot nurses.
Eventually had run in with staff outside clinic entrance. Said to oncology nurse 'Would you jump off Beachy Head if you were told too?'
She averted her eyes (wearing mask outside in blazing sunshine) and said you can’t ask me that. I only realised later that she must have been suicidal during the lockdown (I believe she was single). It grieves me to this day.
Moronic oncology doctor came out and said words to the effect of ‘I have to consider my staff’, to which I replied ‘you are not considering your staff…’ at which point he walked off.
There was no thought to all the health and safety rules to engage staff, just a blanket imbecilic rule followed.
I did eventually get in without a mask when admin guy came out, but as I consider treatment pointless if not harmful, it would have been better if I hadn’t.
Anyway, the whole thing was stark raving bonkers. The world became a mental asylum. I have written various things on masks, this is one.
I had a similar experience at a hospital here in Ireland. What is extraordinary is that doctors and nurses must have known how useless masks were, even if covid were real.
In the past they would never have refused to treat someone with a so-called contagious viral infection, like the flu, if they were not masked up. Yet that is exactly what happened to me when I turned up at A&E one day in 2021.
There were actually a couple of females I saw that looked fairly attractive in a mask, but when they took them off they had strange looking chins / lower faces. But I think they were a minority.

Thanks for the great comment. We all had these interactions and just show up the lunacy of it all.

Madness indeed!
Yes the turning a blind eye to common sense and logic was beyond belief at times. Thanks for reading.
Never wore one. Never.
Likewise and here we still are alive and kicking!
They were proper mask Nazis here in Spain. We had them mandated outdoors, which I refused to do unless the police were visible.
Shops would shout at you, so I would always keep my nose over the top.
I even got kicked out of Lild for that.
Spain was hard I heard during covid-masks outside is just insanity isnt it.Mental in fact.Getting kicked out of LIDL be no mean feat.
Amazing isn’t it?!! 😂
Couldn’t agree more. Appreciate hearing a bit about your journey over the last six years.
Thanks for the comment Valerie

Yep. Welcome to America. Well, the fringes. Fringy ain’t it?
As for masks making people look more attractive, those that agreed must see some rather ugly faces. That's the only explanation I can think of.
